America.gov Will Conduct Live Webcasts from Democratic Convention

At least one webcast a day, beginning August 25

 

Each day during the 2008 Democratic National Convention, America.gov will present at least one webcast of a live videoconference being conducted from the convention site in Denver, Colorado. The schedule of times (EDT) and posts that are programming discussions so far is as follows:

Webcasts will be broadcast from the convention site with speakers as they attend various convention activities during the week. Programming posts will conduct a lively discussion with individuals in their host country on the political as well as the convention process. Speakers will address activities of the convention, such as building a party platform and uniting the party.
